Heath Hill is a cozy, extremely clean, hidden gem. The staff are very professional and go above and beyond for their guests. The food is also very good. If you plan on visiting the NE of Scotland, this hotel won't disappoint. I will be back.

A delightful place to stay for a few days while exploring the towns and villages along this north-east coastline. Room was very clean and comfortable and everyone was very friendly,helpful and efficient. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and plentiful and dinners were of high quality and very enjoyable.

This was our second stay at Heath Hill. All of the staff are helpful, friendly and efficient from breakfast to evening meal. The rooms are always clean and fresh. Lots to see in the area from wildlife to wide beaches VG.

Hotel was comfortable clean and offered everything required and staff, to a person were welcoming and attentive, extremely kind and helpful.

Very comfortable room though did have a bit of a problem with the shower, water too hot and couldn't turn it down. Food excellent. Staff cheerful and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heath Hll Hotel. A lovely peaceful setting, beautiful big, spotlessly clean en-suite room. We also had a table booked for our evening meal. The service, the quality and choice of food were all excellent, we could not fault a thing. Breakfast on the Sunday did not disappoint either, all first class. Would definitely recommend and we will certainly be back. Thank you all.

Honestly this hotel was so lovely,staff were so polite from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out.The food was fresh & proper home cooked value for money and great portion sizes.The room was very clean and very spacious with a lovely comfy bed,tea making facilities with biscuits!Bathroom was new and again lovely and clean and plenty of clean towels.The last thing I would say is if you stay here dont forget to go over to the field and say HI to Doogle hes the big brown highland moo cow hes so friendly.Honestly couldnt recommend this hotel enough,I defiantly cant wait to revisit.

We loved Heath Hill. It was quiet. The room was wonderful. Friendly staff and proprietor. Loved seeing cows and ponies just outside my window.

Greeted with a warm welcome by staff. Information on room location, bar facilities, breakfast times etc communicated in a polite and professional manner. Large clean modern room with well appointed shower and toilet room. Good bar service in the evening and an excellent breakfast on the day of departure. A really nice and friendly hotel in a beautiful position. The rooms are well furnished with the usual tea/coffee compliments . The restaurant is always full which speaks for itself so booking is recommended.Overall an excellent hotel , would highly recommend.

Heath Hill hotel and all its staff never cease to make our stay welcoming, comfortable and provide service of an exceptional standard. I would not hesitate in recommending the Heath Hill to my family and friends either for an overnight stay or just to have a meal. The rooms are lovely, spacious and the bed is super comfy. I enjoyed seeing the Heilan Coo’s! The meals are of a very good quality and value for money. Overall ‘Top Notch’ and look forward to visiting again.

Had a two night mini break with friends in this jewel of a hotel. The rooms were clean and had everything expected in a deluxe hotel room. Food in restaurant was of a high standard. Plenty of choice and well presented. Staff were knowledgeable on the area, attentive to our needs and made us very welcome.

The hotel although a bit dated in places and a bit tired, the room itself was very clean and comfortable.The Staff were exceptionally attentive and nothing was too much bother.Very professional at all times delivering a higher class of service than you would normally expect.The Restaurant was lovely, service was great and the portion sizes were good and food tasty.

I stay at this hotel every year when I am in Fraserburgh on business. Everything about the place is first class. The staff are very helpful and the room and restaurant could not be better. Looking forward to my next stay

I stayed with a number of friends for two nights. Really enjoyed the hotel and facilities. The room was well appointed and spacious. Breakfast both mornings was excellent. The staff were great, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Stayed for three nights, great food, comfortable rooms friendly staff and a good selection of fine malts! What more could you ask for?

A comfortable hotel with a friendly welcome. Our room was facing the countryside, had an upgraded shower room which was very nicely finished. The staff were fantastic and made us feel welcome. The food was great, expertly cooked to our liking. A great choice of options for breakfast which again was freshly cooked to perfection. Overall a very nice hotel in a quiet location. Will definitely be returning.

Heath Hill is only a short distance outside Fraserburgh and is very convenient for visiting the area. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed there several times and always found it clean, the rooms well equipped with large comfortable beds and walk in showers. There are a good range of choices for breakfast, the restaurant serve lunch and evening meals but be sure to book as it’s very popular. I have no hesitation in recommending Heath Hill to anyone visiting the area.

We originally booked for two nights, then enjoyed the Hotel and Area so much we stayed on for a further day and night.

Geat place, clean, tidy, welcoming & quiet with excellent food if needed.Good base for some costal walking.We'll probably be back for the local classic vehicle event next year.

Every part of our stay was to a very high standard. The cleanliness, food and service was the best. A special mention to Angela and Patty so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I had the unfortunate luck of being a bit poorly and Patty was there to help. A real family business. Loved our stay there. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by the modern rooms. The highlight was the food, I would definitely return even if it was just for a meal.

Our spacious king size room was freshly decorated with a very comfy bed and recently renovated bathroom. We did enjoy watching the highland cows and the white horse from our window!The entire staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful and it was service with a smile at breakfast and dinner.The freshly cooked breakfast set us up for the day and the dinners were outstanding.We'll definitely be back -please don't take the fillet steak strips in peppercorn sauce off the menu!

The hotel is charming and homey.The people that run the hotel could not of been nicer. The room was clean and comfortable . The food inn the restaurant was excellent. The highland cattle outside our window was a bonus.

Comfortable, clean and warm. Gentleman at reception very friendly and professional. Nice bar, bright restaurant area. Delicious Full Scottish Breakfast. Very glad to see charging ports in my room because I had only brought a charging cable and no plug. Highly recommend for business travellers. Plus, opportunity for a pleasant walk since out in the countryside a bit and near coast.

What was not to like, great room, great staff and great food. We had breakfast and an evening meal and the food was fresh and cooked very well. The menu is a little limited but that would not stop us coming back.

Comfortable and clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. This is the best hotel in the area, the food is good and reasonably priced. It’s just outside Fraserburgh so a lot less noisy than those in the town center and easier to park your car.

The reception was unmanned, but someone promptly came and the check-in was quick. The room was very comfortable, good shower, and good WiFi. There was no view because of a big barn like structure in from of the window!The breakfast was well cooked and well served. The evening meal at the restaurant was bar meal standard but quite satisfactory, and not expensive.

My husband and myself had a very comfortable, very reasonably priced, 3 night stay in Heath Hill Hotel.The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, very clean and an extremely comfortable very big bed.The breakfast and dinner were delicious and staff throughout very friendly and helpful.Will return and would highly recommend.Thank you

We stayed at Heath Hill for two nights whilst visiting relatives who stayed nearby.This certainly will not be our last stay.The hotel was lovely, staff very friendly and rooms and hotel very clean and tastefully decorated.We ate at the restaurant on Saturday evening and we all commented on such a large and varied choice of dishes.The quality (and quantity) was excellent.My brother-in-law and I had the peppered strips of beef (delish !!!), my sister-in-law chose the Chicken Balmoral and my husband his favourite Steak Pie and both said their choices were great. Sticky Toffee puddings and cheese and biscuits (huge helping !) were all excellent. Breakfast both days was lovely, well presented and a lovely choice on the menu.We shall definitely use Heath Hill again when we come to visit and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

very helpful and obliging staff. the rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable.it was a shame lounge not in use due to a leak.the restaurant had an excellent menu choice and all meals taken were delicious.

Wonderful friendly clean hotel. The Scottish breakfasts are the best (thankyou Pat). We had a few dinners in the restaurant and I can highly commend the Haddock and the dessert I had every meal the banoffee meringue nests. We have already decided we will be there next year. Thankyou

Enjoyed an overnight stay here. Lovely clean room with a view. Breakfast had good selection of cereals, fruit and also fruit juices. Cooked breakfast very tasty and plenty of it, using tasty produce. Also had evening meal here which was very good.

We were amazed at the popularity of this place when we arrived. For somewhere that is in the middle of the countryside, people travel to go there to eat in the restaurant, which ran very efficiently.Our room was recently refurbished and was spacious and comfortable.The floorboards of the room above us were very creaky though, which was rather annoying. Apart from that, we were happy with our stay in a suitable location and good value for money.

Travelling on business and the hotel was well located for my needs in the area. Quality accommodation, immaculately clean, good food, friendly atmosphere, attentive staff and great value. What more could you want?

We had 3 very pleasant nights at Heath Hill. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated and had a fantastic view. Only little complaint was the steaming up mirror! The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. There was a lovely, homely atmosphere. We will definitely stay there again.

Had a fantastic weekend away staff and owners couldn't do enough for us. This was our second time we've stayed here,breakfast was amazing and we weren't able to try the evening menu for supper /dinner this time, it was amazing meal we had last time . We will definitely be going back, rooms were really nice and very clean

My wife and I had a great holiday. The view from our room was very nice, and the scenery was great, especially seeing the heeland coos walking past every day.The room was spacious, spotless and the bed was very comfortable. One suggestion when looking at the bed the person on the left could do with their own light switch.Breakfast were delicious and all cooked to order. The staff are nice and friendly.The saying on one of the walls, “Arrive as guests and leave as friends” proved to be very true.

Without a doubt the best place to stay if your visiting Fraserburgh. I had a room which had been recently renovated. Very comfortable stay with everything I needed. The best bed I have seen in a hotel for a very long time. Lovely shower room. Very clean.We had a cooked breakfast and everything on the plate was really tasty. Good quality food, cooked well.We were made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend Heath Hill Hotel for their meals and rooms.

The room was comfortable, quite large, had a large bed and a modern shower / toilet.All staff were friendly and helpful.A tiny point raised at the time was that there was no light switch to the window side of the bed in room 1.So the person on that side getting up in the night had no way to see where they were going without waking their partner.

Heath Hill Hotel was one of many stops on our recent trip to Scotland. It is truly a gem in the Northeast. Rolling farmland views. Close to a ripping coastline and quaint fishing villages. Minutes from the Scottish Lighthouse Museam. Terrific food at breakfast and dinner.

I have stayed at this family-run hotel in Memsie twice with my wife. It is very friendly, unpretentious and reasonably-priced. The rooms are of a good standard, the food's been fine and the bar (and service) has been excellent. The hotel is a bit isolated and surroundings are quite flat - this isn't the most picturesque part of Aberdeenshire - but it's good for star-gazing, and the hotel has some wonderful highland cows on hand (or hoof) to greet visitors. We'll definitely be going again.

Spent three nights at Heath Hill celebrating our Golden Anniversary....brilliant!The three nights of celebrations went without a hitch, well organised and the staff at Heath Hill couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. We're glad we chose Heath Hill for this important occasion.Many thanks to Charlie, Willie, Patty, Sherylin and the rest of the crew for a brilliant time.

Comfortable and clean bedroom with ensuite shower. Good selection of hot breakfast items.Staff are friendly and helpful. Wide range of dishes on the restaurant menu.

My daughter lives near Heath Hill and highly recommended this hotel, and highly recommendable it is, from the second we walked through the door the staff couldn’t be more helpful , rooms are spotless and very well prepared, the food is fantastic both breakfast and evening dinner, we had to leave very early the day we left so Pat had a continental breakfast put in our room the night before! Brilliant we will definitely be back if there’s any vacancies, absolutely superb hotel, many thanks again

We stayed overnight after a lovely meal at th e hotel with my family. Excellent food. The room was a very high standard, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. Friendly staff too.

Familiar with this hotel - stayed before and they hosted a group booking for me in 2017 with excellent feedback. Room comfortable and quiet with great views across the countryside and some Highland cattle outside the window. First rate breakfast and nice staff. Can't fault it.

Excellent all round; dinner, bed and breakfast. We were in the newly refurbished wing and the en-suite bedroom was really comfortable and well laid out. William and Pattie were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much for them! The rest of the staff were equally accommodating. The hotel was very busy during our three night stay and no wonder....the food was excellent! There is a small gazebo to the left of the front entrance which makes an ideal shelter for smokers, out of the wind and rain. They've thought of everything!Would we stay there again.....definitely!!

Regularly stay in this small friendly hotel when on business in the Aberdeenshire area. Very comfortable with excellent food served by friendly and attentive staff. Always willing to help with small requests making each quest feel very welcome.
